Reconciled Through the Cross

Read: Colossians 1:19–20

The greatest problem humanity has ever faced was separation from God because of sin. The greatest solution God has ever provided was Jesus Christ.

Through His death on the cross, Jesus made peace between holy God and sinful people. Reconciliation is more than forgiveness; it is the restoration of a broken relationship.

Because Christ reconciled us to God, we are also called to pursue peace, forgiveness, and reconciliation with others.

Reflect:

• Have I experienced the peace that Christ offers?

• Is there someone I need to forgive or seek reconciliation with?

Prayer:

Father, thank You for reconciling me to Yourself through Jesus Christ. Help me to extend the same grace and forgiveness You have shown me. Amen.
