The King Over All Creation

Reading: Psalm 24:1–2

Key Verse: "The earth and everything in it... belong to the Lord."

Our culture often encourages us to believe that life belongs to us—that we are free to define truth, determine our own purpose, and rule our own lives.

Scripture tells a different story.

Everything belongs to the Lord because He created everything. Every mountain, every ocean, every star, and every human life exists because of Him.

This truth reminds us that Jesus is not simply our Savior—He is our King. His authority extends over every part of creation, including our own lives.

The question is not whether Christ has authority. The question is whether we are living under His authority.

Reflection Questions

What areas of my life have I struggled to surrender to Christ?
Do I live as though everything belongs to Him?
How can I better honor His authority today?

Prayer

Lord Jesus, You are King over all creation. Help me joyfully submit every area of my life to Your authority. Amen.
