Daily Devotion: Complete in Christ Week Three, Day Three

Scripture: 2 Peter 1:3-8

Devotion

God has not called us to live the Christian life in our own strength. Through Christ, He has already provided everything necessary for spiritual growth. Peter encourages believers to intentionally pursue virtues such as faith, goodness, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly affection, and love.

Spiritual maturity does not happen accidentally. It requires diligence and dependence upon God's power. As we continue growing in Christ, we become increasingly effective and fruitful in our walk with Him.

Reflection Questions:

• Which Christian virtue needs the most attention in my life?

• Am I relying on God's power or my own abilities?

• How have I seen God helping me grow recently?

Prayer:

Father, thank You for providing everything I need to live for You. Help me grow in Christlike character and faithfully follow You each day. Amen.
