The God We Can Know

Reading: John 14:7–11

Key Verse: "The one who has seen Me has seen the Father." (John 14:9)

Devotion

One of the greatest questions people ask is, "What is God like?" Throughout the Old Testament, God revealed Himself through His Word, His works, and His prophets, yet His full glory remained unseen. Then Jesus came.

Jesus did not merely teach about God—He revealed God. When Philip asked Jesus to show them the Father, Jesus answered, "The one who has seen Me has seen the Father." Jesus is the perfect revelation of the invisible God.

If you want to know God's love, look at Jesus. If you want to know God's mercy, look at Jesus. If you want to know God's holiness, compassion, and truth, look at Jesus.

As you prepare your heart for worship this week, remember that knowing Jesus is the greatest way to know God.

Prayer
