One of the most beautiful aspects of Paul's opening prayer is his gratitude for what God is doing in others. Instead of criticizing or comparing, Paul celebrates God's grace at work in the lives of fellow believers.

Sometimes we become so focused on our own struggles that we fail to notice the evidence of God's work around us. This week, take time to thank God for how He is working in your church, your family, and your fellow believers.

The same God who was transforming the Colossians is still transforming lives today.

Who can I thank God for today, and how have I seen His grace at work in their life?

Father, thank You for Your work in the lives of others. Help me encourage fellow believers and rejoice whenever Your grace is on display.
